About the position
The Technical Program Manager, Data & Implementation supports client implementations, implementation operations, data analysis, and technical solution delivery. This is a cross-functional role that sits between Implementation, Engineering, Product, Data, Customer Success, and Sales. You will manage delivery for individual client projects while also building the data analysis and tooling that make every implementation easier.
What you will do
Program and implementation management
- Manage client implementations from post-signature through go-live.
- Build implementation plans, schedules, and risk registers.
- Coordinate delivery across internal and external teams.
- Translate customer requirements into technical tasks.
- Facilitate working sessions and testing checkpoints.
Data analysis and validation
- Analyze building, occupancy, access control, and operational data.
- Use SQL to investigate data quality issues.
- Validate data completeness and accuracy.
- Create dashboards and executive-ready analyses.
- Work within our Databricks environment.
Implementation tooling
- Develop tools, templates, and workflows that improve consistency across projects.
- Partner with Engineering on implementation utilities.
- Maintain implementation dashboards and reporting.
- Track project work in Monday.com.
Sales support
- Assist with technical discovery and product demonstrations.
- Support sales conversations involving integration or data topics.
- Develop data-driven demonstration scenarios.
Required qualifications
- 4+ years in technical program management, implementation, or a related role.
- Enterprise software implementation experience.
- SQL proficiency and the ability to query data independently.
- Working knowledge of relational databases.
- Familiarity with APIs, data mapping, and integration testing.
- Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or Databricks.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Experience managing projects in fast-paced environments.
- Ability to work from our Chicago office three days a week (Tuesday through Thursday).
Desired qualifications
- Experience with Databricks or a comparable cloud analytics platform.
- Understanding of data engineering concepts, including ETL/ELT and pipelines.
- Experience building internal tools or scripts.
- Familiarity with Python or notebooks.
- Background in sales engineering or solution consulting.
- Experience in smart building, proptech, or enterprise SaaS.
- Experience coordinating with vendors.
- Background at a startup or high-growth technology company.
