People tap in with NFC or open the door from their pocket over BLE, and the same credential works on a smartwatch or wearable. Each person can hold any mix of four formats, physical, mobile, wallet, and biometric, and you set how many active credentials they're allowed. It all runs on the readers you already have, so mobile credentials are a layer on top of your hardware rather than a rip-and-replace.
Bi-directional sync keeps your identity provider and your access control system in lockstep. When someone joins in your HR or identity system, they get building access automatically; when someone leaves, their credentials revoke the moment the record changes. No tickets, no manual steps, no gap between HR action and door lockout.
Pre-registration, QR check-in, kiosk mode, and credential issuance run as one flow. A visitor's pass is scoped to the floors their host approved and tied to the visit window, so it activates when the booking starts and expires when it ends without anyone going back to revoke it. Guests check themselves in at a kiosk or on their phone and sign any required waivers on the spot, with signed copies stored for compliance.
