At Marlin Equity Partners, Dan serves as Executive Chairman of several high growth enterprise cloud software and services portfolio companies including RevenueWell, Skuid and Challenger.
As CEO of SpringCM, Dan led the acquisition of SpringCM by DocuSign in August 2018 for $270M, after growing the company to $30M in annual revenue, 675 customers and 190 employees.
Dan also serves on the Boards of Directors of SalesHood, the leading sales enablement platform company, and Cohesion, the top smart building technology company.
As President of Ensighten, a digital marketing software company, Dan ran customer-facing operations including sales, marketing, and services and grew revenues by 4X in 2 years.
For over 11 years, Dan built and led Salesforce sales teams in the central US and nationwide. After joining Salesforce.com in 2002 when they had fewer than 150 employees and less than $50M in annual revenue, Dan helped fuel Salesforce.com’s growth to over 12,000 employees, over $4B in annual revenue, and 150,000+ customers.
As a member of the founding management team of Synchrony (sold in 2001 to Divine), Dan was the EVP of WW Sales & Services. Dan’s sales career has also included successful leadership roles at Siebel Systems, Sybase, and Oracle -- all during their IPO and expansion phases.
After earning his bachelor’s degree in General Engineering/Computer Science from the Univ. of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Dan earned a master’s degree in management from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
At the Kellstadt Graduate School of Business at DePaul Univ., Dan is a frequent guest lecturer. Dan is also an Executive Mentor at 1871, the startup accelerator in the Chicagoland Entrepreneurial Center.
His civic roles include the Cara Program fighting homelessness and poverty in Chicago and Hope For The Day which provides mental health education for suicide prevention.
Dan and his wife raised their five children in St. Charles, IL.
Board Member | EVP, Head of Group Investment for Frasers Property Limited
Patricia is the EVP, Head of Group Investment for Frasers Property Limited (FPL). Frasers Property Limited is multi-national owner-operator-developer of real estate products and services across the property value chain. The group has total assets of approximately SGD33b and AUM of SGD42.3b as at end Sept 20. She assists the Group CIO in formulating and executing FPL’s investment strategies which includes identification of new markets and new businesses. In addition, Group Investment is also responsible for merger and acquisitions and making and managing strategic investments (including prop tech investments) for FPL.
Patricia has more than 15 years of wide-ranging experience in the real estate industry and knowledge in various markets and has executed more than SGD13b worth of transactions in the last 5 years. Her previous role includes 10+ years in Ascendas Funds Management Ltd – manager for Ascendas REIT which is the largest business space REIT by market cap in Singapore. She held dual role as Head of Investment and Head of Revenue Management and manages a diversified portfolio of real estate totaling SGD10b. She is responsible for driving growth through formulating investment strategy and asset management strategy for the REIT.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree (Political Science and Sociology) and Master of Science (Real Estate) from National University of Singapore.

As Executive Chairman of ESD, Raj Gupta leads the company's mission to Improve Society Through the Built Environment. He works on long-term initiatives to support the company’s future, including the expansion of career development paths for employees, promotion of the ESD brand and corporate governance. He champions ESD's embrace of globalization and positions the firm to compete in our digital economy.
He nurtures ESD’s unique culture and advances its values: respect everyone, work hard and play to win. Raj is active with charitable and civic organizations, including the Adler Planetarium, ESD’s Golfing for Good, Young Presidents’ Organization, World Business Chicago and the Economic Club of Chicago. He holds bachelor degrees in management engineering and mechanical engineering from Claremont McKenna College and Washington University, respectively, along with a master's degree in communications from Northwestern University.
Steven Koch most recently served as the Co-Executive Chairman and interim Chief Executive Officer of Motivate, a leading bike share company in North America. He served as the Deputy Mayor of Chicago from September, 2012 to August, 2017. His responsibilities included economic development, planning, job creation and development, budget issues, municipal finance, and revenue.
Prior to that, Koch spent 27 years at Credit Suisse. During his tenure at CS, he both ran and was the co-chairman of the global mergers and acquisitions business. Under his leadership, the M&A business had over 400 professionals and peak yearly revenues of $2.5 billion. Koch advised on landmark transactions in a wide variety of industries, which together comprised more than $1 trillion of transactions.
Koch has a long history of civic engagement. He currently serves as the Chair of the Boards of the Chicago Tech Collaborative and the Chicago River Task Force and sits on the boards of the Chicago Community Trust, mHUB, the Greater Chicago Food Depository, Navy Pier Inc., The Chicago Council on Global Affairs, Naturally Chicago, The Southland Development Authority, The James Beard Foundation and the visiting committee of the University of Chicago Law School. He is also on the board of Local Coho inc. and the advisory board of Fast Radius, inc. He helped develop and teaches in the Directors’ Consortium, a training seminar for directors of public companies, sponsored by the University of Chicago and Stanford University. He is a life trustee of the Francis Parker School. He previously served as the Chair of the Board of both the Sinai Health System of Chicago and the Greater Chicago Food Depository and as Co-Chair of the Green Ribbon Commission on Sustainability and Climate Change of the City of Chicago. Koch is also a member of SLoFIG and the Hyde Park Angels.
Koch received his BA from Hampshire College, his MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and his JD, cum laude, from the University of Chicago Law School. He was a Henry Luce Fellow and served as a law clerk for Judge Richard Cudahy of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.
Koch has three grown children.

Additionally, Thru is a passionate entrepreneur and is the founding board member of Current, a water technology accelerator focused on advanced research and market-driven innovations.
Thru holds an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a B.S. in Finance from The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Thru serves on the boards of Current and Working in the Schools (WITS), a Chicago based literacy non-profit. She is also passionate about staying active, traveling, and cooking.
