About the Position
We’re looking for a hands-on, process-driven Implementation Coordinator to join our Client Relations team. This is a full-time, hybrid in-person role based at our Chicago HQ. This person will report to our Head of Client Relations and will play a key role in setting up and launching new customer sites—whether that’s configuring hardware, coordinating site visits, testing integrations, or supporting digital wallet rollouts. You won’t be writing code, but you’ll be working closely with engineers and product managers to make sure our tech is deployed flawlessly. You’ll thrive in this role if you're eager to get into the tech space, enjoy being onsite and collaborating cross-functionally, and aren’t afraid to roll up your sleeves when it comes to hardware setup, field testing, or client walkthroughs.
What you will do
- Support project execution for new building deployments—including hardware setup (like IoT sensors and access devices), testing, and client onboarding coordination
- Travel to customer sites to assist with setup, walkthroughs, UAT (user acceptance testing), and client support
- Coordinate across engineering, product, and customer success teams to ensure deployment timelines and quality benchmarks are met
- Track and manage implementation tasks using internal project tools and documentation platforms (Monday.com, Zendesk, Azure DevOps)
- Assist in creating internal and external training materials and SOPs for clients and tenants
- Perform testing on digital wallet and credential functionality across client environments
- Support post-launch activities including follow-ups, upsell coordination, and data capture
- Provide feedback to internal teams on pain points, gaps, or lessons learned during deployment
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in a client-facing, coordination, or field services role (installations, technical coordination, or project logistics ideal)
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-first mindset
- Strong organizational skills with a high attention to detail and deadlines
- Ability to travel ~25% to customer sites (Chicago and US-based)
- Comfort with using Google Workspace, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and digital project tools
- Curiosity about the built environment, PropTech, or IoT systems
Desired Qualifications
- Previous work in construction, field services, or facility technology
- Experience with access control systems, sensors, or technical field deployments
- Exposure to SaaS, enterprise software, or smart building systems
