3 things you didn't know about Richard
1) He had a summer job at his local highway department measuring the size and depth of puddles.
2) He loves to fly fish and can't help showing everyone pictures of the fish he caught.
3) He participated for years in his town's Cardboard Regatta, an event where participants make boats out of cardboard and race around the town's lake. Rich and 4 friends spent two months constructing an eighteen-foot cardboard boat all five rode in to victory.
As General Counsel, Rich is responsible for Cohesion’s legal affairs. He is passionate about using his legal expertise to support all facets of the business.
Rich has 30+ years of legal experience in both public and private practice. He served at two national law firms where his practice included resolving legal and business issues for clients across the country. Rich later joined Equity Residential, a S&P 500 real estate company, as senior litigation counsel helping Equity navigate disputes arising from its operations nationwide. He is particularly proud of his work with Development Group and its over $3.5B of new construction.
Rich earned a B.A. in Finance from the University of Notre Dame and received his law degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo Law School. He is a member of the Association of Corporate Counsel and is an active volunteer with his local food pantry.
