case study: cohesion + The John Buck Company + 155 North Wacker

a next-generation technology upgrade

The John Buck Company opened 155 North Wacker in 2009 as one of their signature commercial properties. The 48-story building is LEED Gold certified and was designed with tenant-desired amenities and sustainability at the forefront. In 2018, The John Buck Company began a large technological upgrade at the property.

Cohesion was engaged to enhance the 155 North Wacker property with the Cohesion Intelligent Building Platform (IBP), a cloud-based platform with mobile and web interfaces that connects the building’s technology systems and provides greater access to information. The IBP delivers role-based, self-service capabilities that enhance the daily lives for all key stakeholders of the building. Occupants can use mobile credentials to access the building, view local transit information, reserve amenities, and book services. Tenants can invite visitors, submit service requests, assign parking, and control HVAC systems. Property management can respond to service requests, manage building visitors, and centralize building documents and information storage.
